Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a dedicated Renal Registered Nurse to join our professional healthcare team in the Sancrox and Port Macquarie area. As a key member of our Renal Service, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centred nursing care to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment. Your daily duties will typically include assessing patient health status, monitoring vital signs during procedures, administering prescribed medications, managing dialysis equipment, and educating patients and their families on managing renal conditions. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will ensure adherence to clinical safety standards and contribute to positive health outcomes.
To be successful in this role, applicants must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and possess relevant clinical competencies. Experience or a demonstrated interest in renal medicine and dialysis nursing is highly valued, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
This position offers a competitive remuneration package ranging from $79,368.82 to $111,427.34, commensurate with qualifications and experience, in addition to 12% superannuation and salary packaging options. Special incentives are also offered for this role to support and reward incoming nursing professionals.
