In this role, you will play a vital part in patient care by assessing, treating, and managing individuals with various pulmonary disorders. Your primary responsibilities will involve the clinical administration of therapeutic interventions, patient monitoring, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
Key responsibilities and duties for this position typically include:
- Evaluating patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions to develop and execute appropriate care plans.
- Administering therapeutic respiratory treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Operating, maintaining, and monitoring specialized respiratory equipment, such as mechanical ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
- Observing patient responses to treatments and modifying care as necessary while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Educating patients and their families on disease management, preventive care, and the proper use of respiratory devices.
- Communicating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
