UCHealth is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the team at Parkview Medical Center located in Pueblo, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment on the 5 SW Labor and Delivery unit, providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families.
This is an onsite position based in Pueblo County with a PRN work schedule and a flexible shift structure, designed to support variable staffing needs. Compensation is determined based on the applicant’s relevant professional nursing experience, with an hourly pay rate range reflecting the standard pay scale for this specialized clinical role.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Delivering comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care specifically tailored to labor and delivery patients.
- Monitoring maternal and fetal vital signs and responding promptly to clinical changes or emergencies.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, obstetricians, and other multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Educating patients and families throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records in compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
Minimum requirements for applicants include being a graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered or Professional Nursing program (applicable for candidates with less than three years of experience), along with maintaining an active state nursing license. Candidates must be able to report onsite for all scheduled shifts, as remote or hybrid work options are not available for this role.
