In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring telemetry data, assessing patient conditions, and working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal clinical results.
The annual salary for this position is $77,642.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Continuously monitoring patient vital signs and telemetry rhythms, responding promptly to changes in status
- Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records in compliance with facility standards
- Participating in unit quality improvement initiatives and supporting evidence-based nursing practices
