UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Specialty Care / Primary Care clinic located in Steamboat Springs, Routt County. This is an onsite, PRN position offering an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical and physician office setting.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, adhering strictly to established clinical scopes and professional standards. You will work closely with physicians, support staff, and patients to ensure high-quality, coordinated care within our outpatient healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Assessing patient health conditions and documenting medical histories accurately.
- Assisting healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administering medications and immunizations as ordered, following safety protocols.
- Providing patient education regarding ongoing care, disease management, and treatment plans.
- Triage and responding to patient inquiries in person and via phone or electronic messaging.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and fully stocked clinical work environment.
To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse license and maintain appropriate clinical certifications as required by the state and the organization. Please note that this is an onsite role with no remote or hybrid work options available. The work schedule is PRN, operating on a day shift schedule. Pay is dependent on the applicant’s relevant experience.
