Geisinger is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Team Coordinator in the Labor and Delivery Unit on a full-time basis in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County. In this vital role, you will help coordinate patient care, support clinical operations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to mothers and newborns within our inpatient unit.
The annual salary for this position is $53,483. Additionally, Geisinger is proud to offer an inpatient RN hiring incentive of up to $23,500 for eligible candidates. The minimum hiring rate starts at $41.41 per hour, with increased rates available for experienced individuals, plus shift differentials of up to $7 for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
As a Clinical Team Coordinator in our Labor and Delivery Unit, your primary duties typically include:
- Facilitating daily clinical operations and coordinating patient flow within the unit.
- Providing comprehensive nursing care and clinical leadership to patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Collaborating with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Mentoring, supporting, and guiding nursing staff and clinical team members.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
