Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for a full-time, day-shift RN Supervisor Med Surg position. In this leadership role, the Clinical Supervisor collaborates closely with the Director to ensure the continuous safe operation of the assigned department. Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of patient care, managing unit staffing, maintaining fiscal responsibility, and supporting the strategic goals of the unit. You will serve as a designated leader responsible for implementing, supervising, and evaluating safe patient care while fostering a secure and welcoming environment for employees, patients, families, and visitors. Maintaining clinical and professional competency tailored to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs of our patient population is essential, alongside consistently promoting service excellence behaviors.
To qualify for the RN Supervisor Med Surg FT Days position, candidates must meet the following education, licensure, and experience requirements:
- Minimum Education: An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Minimum Experience: 2 to 3 years of acute care or comparable clinical experience, with demonstrated leadership ability preferred.
- Required Licenses and Certifications: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN or LPN license from your state of residence is required (or must be obtained within 30 days if relocating from another Compact state). American Heart Association BLS CPR certification is also required, along with any additional unit-specific certifications to be completed during the orientation period.
