RN Supervisor – Progressive Care Unit

Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to lead our Progressive Care Unit in delivering exceptional patient care. Located in the Mesquite and Dallas area, our facility is recognized for pioneering healthcare innovations, including stroke response times nearly half the national average, cutting-edge SPOT Technology for earlier sepsis detection, and an advanced Enhanced Surgical Recovery program designed to reduce opioid prescriptions and post-surgical readmissions.

Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:

• Supervising daily nursing operations and patient care delivery within the Progressive Care Unit
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety standards
• Mentoring, supporting, and empowering nursing staff through ongoing guidance and clinical leadership
• Monitoring adherence to hospital policies, quality measures, and evidence-based practice guidelines
• Facilitating effective communication between staff, physicians, patients, and families

Qualifications for this position:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact license
• Relevant clinical experience in a progressive care, acute care, or hospital setting
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative team environment
