UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse for a travel NICU position working night shifts in the Denver and Lakewood area. This full-time, 13-week assignment is designed for healthcare professionals looking to bring their expertise to a dynamic neonatal intensive care unit environment.
As an RN Traveler in the NICU, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, operating specialized neonatal equipment, and collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and family-centered care.
Requirements for this role include:
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse license or eNLC multistate privileges
- Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
This position is open to internal UCHealth travelers, as well as local RN traveler contract options for those who reside within 75 miles of the facility. The compensation includes an hourly rate paired with a travel package or stipend, aligning with a total annual compensation equivalent of $49,762 for the contracted period.
