Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and become part of the trusted team that keeps the UK moving. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Roadside Technician to cover the Luton and surrounding areas, starting and finishing directly from your own driveway for ultimate convenience.
In this dynamic field role, you will be the face of the RAC, providing exceptional roadside assistance, diagnostic support, and mechanical repairs to motorists in need. Your goal will be to fix members’ vehicles at the roadside whenever possible, getting them safely back on their journey quickly and efficiently.
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent)
- Possess at least 2 years of practical mechanical experience working with vehicles
- Hold a full UK driving licence with no excessive penalty points
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently in varied weather and traffic conditions
