We are currently seeking a Roadside Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis working night shifts across West Yorkshire, specifically covering locations in and around Featherstone, Pontefract, Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley, Pudsey, Otley, and Garforth.
In this dynamic roadside assistance role, you will be the face of our brand, helping motorists get back on the move when they experience vehicle breakdowns. As part of our local operational structure, your working arrangements are organized so that you can conveniently start and finish your shifts directly from home.
We recognize and reward hard work with a strong total compensation package. The total earning potential for this position is up to £60,000 per year, which is comprised of a competitive base salary and opportunities for additional earnings through overtime and performance incentives based on your OTE.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Attending stranded motorists promptly and professionally at the roadside
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of mechanical and electrical vehicle faults
- Attempting first-time fixes whenever safely possible to get customers moving again
- Towing or recovering vehicles safely when roadside repair is not achievable
- Maintaining accurate records of jobs completed using company systems
- Adhering to all health, safety, and roadside protocol guidelines
