As a Roadside Vehicle Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be attending to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and working to repair vehicles at the roadside to get our members safely back on their way. You will manage call-outs efficiently, deliver exceptional customer service during stressful situations, and maintain accurate records of all work completed. This is a mobile role where you will start and finish your shifts directly from your own driveway.
To be considered for this full-time position, you will need:
- A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant hands-on mechanical experience
- A full UK driving licence with no more minor penalty points than standard policy allows
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering top-tier customer service
In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 per year. You will work demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available to further boost your earnings. Additionally, you will be provided with fully equipped mobile support, comprehensive ongoing training, and the chance to work independently while being backed by a supportive national team.
