At RAC, we appreciate the dedication of our colleagues who go the extra mile for our customers. We are currently looking for a full-time Roadside Vehicle Technician to join our team in Hillhouse, Huddersfield, and become an essential part of our local operations.
In this dynamic field-based role, you will play a crucial part in keeping our members moving. You will be responsible for attending breakdowns, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults at the roadside, and performing efficient repairs to get customers safely back on their journey whenever possible.
Key responsibilities and features of the role include:
- Responding promptly to roadside breakdown callouts within your assigned coverage area.
- Using specialist diagnostic equipment and your technical expertise to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Providing exceptional customer service, offering clear communication and reassurance to stranded motorists.
- Managing your daily workload efficiently while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Enjoying the convenience of starting and finishing your workday directly from home.
We offer a market competitive total compensation package for this full-time position, with a salary of £60,000 per year, reflecting the value we place on your technical skills and commitment to our customers.
