SAS in Food Lion – Traveling Reset Merchandiser

SAS Retail Services is currently seeking a Traveling Reset Merchandiser to join our team in Raleigh, NC, supporting Food Lion locations. In this dynamic role, you will help handle product movement at retail by displaying, moving, and tracking merchandise to ensure grocery stores and product suppliers have the best opportunities for optimal sales. By ensuring that the latest products match the newest store plans, you will play a direct role in creating an engaging shopping experience.

Key responsibilities and expectations for the Traveling Reset Merchandiser role include:

• Traveling 100 percent of the time with regular interstate travel and required overnight hotel stays as needed.
• Working overnight shifts from Sunday through Wednesday night, or day shifts from Monday through Thursday.
• Utilizing a reliable vehicle to travel daily within an assigned territory.
• Collaborating effectively as a team player with other associates on group merchandising tasks.
• Executing merchandising activities such as item placement, new item cut-ins, and shelf cleaning.
• Willingness to learn new skills and alternative approaches to in-store execution.
• Meeting physical demands, including the ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, reach overhead, climb ladders, push/pull, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs. for up to 8 hours per day.
• Tolerating changes in temperature and humidity while working in freezer and dairy coolers.
