Outcomes First Group is seeking a dedicated School Health Practitioner to join the team at Underley Garden School. In this permanent, term-time only role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that every child feels safe, healthy, and supported to reach their full potential within a positive school environment.
This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week, scheduled from Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm. The salary is £25,000 per annum (not pro rata), complemented by a travel allowance. Please note that this opportunity is for UK applicants only, as sponsorship is not available.
Key responsibilities for the School Health Practitioner typically include:
- Providing routine and emergency health care, first aid, and medical support to students during the school day.
- Administering medication in accordance with school policies and individual health care plans.
- Liaising with parents, teachers, and external healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive student care.
- Maintaining accurate, confidential health records and medical logs for students.
- Promoting health, well-being, and hygiene education across the school community.
- Assisting with the development and review of individual healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
