Kier Group is currently seeking a dedicated Section Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework team, based in the North West of England with a working location in Penketh, Warrington. This is a full-time position offering 45 hours per week, providing an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our operations.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the technical compliance of our projects. Working collaboratively with wider project teams, your day-to-day focus will be on helping to deliver engineering work safely, on time, and to the highest possible quality standards. You will bring your technical expertise to site operations, supporting smooth execution and adherence to project specifications.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Ensuring all engineering and construction activities comply with relevant technical specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to drive safe and efficient project delivery.
- Providing technical guidance and resolving site-based queries in a timely manner.
- Monitoring work progress and maintaining accurate quality assurance records.
- Promoting and upholding strict health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities.
