Come and join the magic with Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa! We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Host/Hostess for a full-time opportunity offering a hiring wage of $29.00 per hour. As a Security Host/Hostess, your main goal is to provide a safe and secure environment that enables our guests, cast members, and vendors to experience the magic of Disney.

In this role, you will perform protective and enforcement functions in a courteous and professional manner while handling emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances, and threats to life and property. Your daily responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Conducting interior and exterior Resort foot patrols to identify undesirable conditions and maintain order.
  • Serving as a first responder and completing training on Infant, Child, and Adult CPR, AED, Stop The Bleed, and fire extinguisher procedures.
  • Evaluating situations quickly, making logical decisions while maintaining a calm demeanor, and coordinating expedient responses to safety hazards and alarms.
  • Conducting investigations by evaluating scenes, interviewing complainants and witnesses, and involving correct personnel.
  • Writing detailed documentation and reports, and performing general clerical duties using Microsoft Office and site-specific programs.
  • Monitoring Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, operating complex consoles, managing two-way radio dispatches, and maintaining request logs.
  • Providing cash escorts, key assists, and issuing contractor and visitor badges.
  • Receiving, recording, securing, and researching found property to respond to guest inquiries.
  • Escorting guests and cast members to parking lots and providing accurate information regarding directions and hours of operation.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following basic qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid State of Hawaii Guard Card.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal, written, and technology skills, including keyboarding at 25 WPM.
  • Relevant first responder or security experience, which may include hotel or resort security, military basic training, loss prevention, or high-pressure roles such as firefighter, EMT, or flight attendant.
  • A good sense of direction to memorize the Resort layout, including safety equipment locations.
  • Full-time schedule availability requiring open availability seven days per week, including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred qualifications that add to your application include an Associate’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice, Private Investigations, or Emergency Management, a strong understanding of Hawaii Revised Statutes, and knowledge of the Hawaiian or Japanese language.
