Outcomes First Group is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join the team at Kestrel House School, located in Crouch End, Hornsey, North London (N8 9EA). This is a permanent, term-time-only position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, with a start date of September 2026. The salary is up to £51,000 per year (not pro rata). Please note that this opportunity is open to UK applicants only and no visa sponsorship is available.
As a Class Teacher at Kestrel House, you will play a central role in developing pupils’ academic abilities and communication skills within a supportive and specialized educational environment. The organization is committed to putting wellbeing first by giving teams more time to recharge.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the specific special educational needs of the pupils.
- Fostering the development of academic, social, and communication skills in a safe and structured setting.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the progress, development, and attainment of students.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary support teams, therapists, and families to achieve the best possible outcomes for every child.
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that prioritizes student wellbeing and engagement.
