Bank of America is seeking a Senior Banker to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this 40-hour per week, 1st-shift role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for financial center clients. You will help uncover the personal banking needs of individual and small business clients, offer appropriate solutions, and connect them with specialized experts. Success in this position involves deepening client relationships, supporting transactional and self-service activities, and proactively reaching out through outbound calls and consistent follow-up routines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with teams to provide consumer and small business solutions, services, and strategies that align with clients’ unique life priorities.
- Assisting, educating, and training clients on conducting simple transactions through self-service technologies.
- Leveraging available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience while maintaining operational excellence and accuracy.
- Adhering to established processes, regulations, and guidelines when opening accounts, performing account maintenance, and utilizing Digital Assisted Shopping.
- Managing client interactions responsibly and effectively, always acting in the best interest of the client and the bank.
Required qualifications and skills include:
- A minimum of one year of demonstrated sales experience in a relationship-oriented, client-centric environment, or equivalent internal Bank of America experience (such as holding a specified Relationship Manager or Advisor Development role for at least six months).
- A High School Diploma, GED, Secondary School, or equivalent minimum education requirement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients confidently both in-person and by phone.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- An enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter work ethic with a strong focus on results and client advocacy.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends and/or extended hours, travel to financial center locations within a reasonable distance, and become a commissioned notary within a few months of starting, depending on state requirements.
Desired qualifications that enhance your application include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or a related field, previous experience working in a goal-oriented financial center or retail incentive environment, and familiarity with banking products, services, and Microsoft applications.
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $31.37, with final offers determined based on experience, education, and skill set. Additionally, this role is formulaic incentive eligible, offering opportunities based on performance against defined metrics, and is fully benefits-eligible with access to industry-leading programs, paid time off, and employee support resources.
