Witherslack Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker on a full-time basis in Holcot, Northampton. In this rewarding role, you will play an essential part in a young person’s day-to-day life, helping them navigate challenges and celebrating their successes.
Working within our residential children’s home means being there for both the highest highs and lowest lows. You will support our residents in reclaiming their childhood, building resilience, and creating meaningful pathways to become well-rounded adults. The salary for this position is £31,920 per year.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Providing direct, compassionate care and daily support to children and young people residing in the home.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes positive behavioral and emotional development.
- Acting as a positive role model, guiding residents through daily routines, educational pursuits, and recreational activities.
- Collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams, social workers, and education staff to support individual care plans.
- Maintaining accurate records, shift logs, and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assisting with household duties and ensuring the residential environment remains clean, welcoming, and secure.
