Sequana Group, one of Australia’s fastest-growing and independent water, energy, and environment-focused infrastructure advisory firms, is currently seeking a talented Senior Design Drafter to join our team on a full-time basis. Located in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, you will be part of a dynamic workplace home to almost 200 experts and an extensive network of contractors dedicated to redefining the future of major infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers to deliver exceptional results for our diverse portfolio of private sector and government clients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping innovative infrastructure solutions across Australia and our growing international footprint.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and models for water, energy, and environmental infrastructure projects using industry-standard drafting software.
- Collaborating with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure designs align with project specifications, regulatory standards, and client requirements.
- Reviewing and refining design drafts to maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and constructability.
- Managing drafting documentation and maintaining organized project files in accordance with company standards.
- Assisting with the coordination and integration of multidisciplinary design inputs into comprehensive drawing packages.
