Alinta Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis in the Perth CBD. As one of Australia’s leading energy retailers, generators, and developers serving over 1.1 million customers, we are playing a pivotal role in the nation’s largest-ever energy system transformation through our ongoing investments in large-scale renewables and storage solutions.
In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will provide critical technical support for diverse power generation assets located across Western Australia and nationally, driving both operational and commercial impact. We are looking for an experienced engineering professional who can apply their electrical expertise to support our modern energy portfolio and contribute to our ongoing development projects.
Key responsibilities in this position typically include:
- Providing high-level electrical engineering support and technical guidance for power generation assets.
- Assisting with the operation, maintenance, and optimization of existing infrastructure and new energy developments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional operational and commercial teams to achieve project and business objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and technical specifications.
- Participating in asset reliability improvements and supporting the integration of large-scale renewable and storage technologies.
