Kier Group is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) team. Based on a major Defence project in Rivenhall, Witham, with site-based delivery near Ipswich, this is a full-time permanent position offering some flexibility on working hours for the right candidate.
In this role, you will play a vital part within our specialist MEP self-delivery team, contributing your expertise to complex engineering tasks on a high-profile project. We are looking for a professional who can bring technical leadership, coordinate electrical works effectively, and collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Overseeing and managing electrical engineering aspects of the project from conception through to completion.
- Ensuring all electrical installation works comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, sub-contractors, and other engineers to maintain progress and resolve technical queries.
- Monitoring health, safety, and quality standards across the site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Reviewing design drawings, technical submittals, and operational documentation.
The salary for this position is £58,796 per year. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to candidates for this role, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
