Salary Range: 143,800 – 219,300 PLN annually (Determined by function, education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to support electrical design activities for the Poland AP1000 Project in the Warsaw project office. This role involves working on the delivery of the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland in partnership with Westinghouse Electric Company and the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). This position is subject to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) regulations at 10 CFR Part 810.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Produce comprehensive design documentation, drawings, schematics, and calculations for 230V-400kV systems.
  • Apply relevant codes and standards (US, IEC, PL) to prepare electrical design documents, specifications, and material requisitions.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard electrical engineering methods, techniques, and procedures.
  • Coordinate electrical engineering efforts with specialty groups, disciplines, clients, vendors, contractors, and construction teams.
  • Review Polish subcontractor deliverables and support permitting activities.
  • Provide technical assistance to project personnel, customers, and regulatory agencies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical or another engineering discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant power generation experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Licensed Professional Design Engineer (Poland) – Electrical engineer authorized to independently perform technical design tasks in construction with unrestricted building qualifications and registration with the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers (PIIB).
  • Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or better) and C2 / Native Polish language proficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of Polish laws, European regulations, and industry codes.
  • Experience developing permitting design drawings and requirements in Poland.
  • Proficiency with ETAP, CAD 2D/3D, AGI32 software, and cable routing tools.
  • Expertise in equipment sizing, cable sizing, earthing systems, lighting, underground distribution, arc-flash safety, and lightning protection.
