Kier Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our established Kier Mechanical & Electrical team. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Blythe Valley Park office in Shirley, Solihull, Birmingham, offering some flexibility on working hours for the right candidate.
In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality electrical engineering services across our projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence, adherence to safety standards, and successful project delivery from inception to completion.
Key responsibilities for the Senior Electrical Project Engineer include:
- Leading the electrical engineering elements of assigned projects within the West Midlands region.
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
- Overseeing design, installation, and commissioning processes to maintain high industry standards.
- Providing technical guidance, problem-solving support, and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong background in electrical engineering within the construction or M&E sector, coupled with proven experience in project delivery. You should possess strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
