About the Role: As the Senior Manager for Account Management within UberEats SMB, you will serve as the Territory Lead and local-first partner heading account management for a defined set of geographies in Texas. This role focuses on accelerating commercial growth by ensuring hyperlocal execution and maintaining end-to-end accountability for marketplace health within your territory. Success demands turning market ambiguity into an actionable, locally-aware sales strategy, ensuring that commercial progress translates directly into market-level business impact while managing a portfolio of strategic accounts and unifying Sales, Account Management, and Territory Operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Local Execution and Accountability by serving as the Head of Account Management for your defined geographies and owning the team’s pipeline with clear priorities and a bias for action.
- Drive Hyperlocal Commercial Strategy by developing and implementing commercial strategies through deep familiarity with local merchants, numbers, and competition.
- Own Market-Level Outcomes to drive end-to-end accountability, addressing marketplace challenges like competitive pressure and capital allocation to secure predictable revenue expansion.
- Ensure Cross-functional Stakeholder Alignment by influencing sales execution and strategic alignment with key partners to unblock deals and prioritize territory-led goals.
- Act as a Player-Coach by sharing direct feedback, leading with context, and maintaining a high standard of operational excellence, attention to detail, and principled thinking.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant, hands-on experience in B2B Account Management or Sales.
- Previous leadership experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a marketplace business, specifically navigating the scale and hyperlocal complexity of SMB and/or enterprise platforms.
- A proven track record of developing talent, coaching for high performance, and driving a collaborative team culture, including experience as a manager of managers.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and rapidly implement new commercial and operational frameworks in a scaling, fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding commercial acumen with a disciplined, data-driven approach to sales strategy connecting commercial activities to business impact.
- High standards, a bias toward action, and the ability to drive clarity and delivery across organizational relationships.
Compensation and Location Details: For Dallas, TX-based roles, the base salary range is USD $183,000 per year to USD $203,000 per year. You will also be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, may be offered an equity award and other types of compensation, and will have access to various benefits. Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber’s cultural identity; unless formally approved to work fully remotely, employees are expected to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
