Senior Manager, Strategic Finance – Tech

About the Team: In Finance, we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives. Our Strategic Finance team provides comprehensive financial insights into the business through functional business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and project management.

About the Role: As a Senior Manager on the Tech Finance team, you will lead and support key work streams that directly impact company objectives. You will act as a financial and strategic thought partner on a critical area of the business. Working cross-functionally among Finance and Engineering leadership teams, you will strategically evaluate new and existing initiatives through a finance lens to ensure delivery against key success metrics. What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with business and functional leaders to enhance financial reporting and forecasting to drive insights and change, applying business judgment to assist with decision-making.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for all things finance, leading budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
• Connect financial insights to operational results and the external environment through rigorous business analysis.
• Lead cross-functional projects enhancing our reporting infrastructure to provide the organization with the right tools to understand trends and manage to targets.
• Grow and develop your team while partnering across Strategic Finance to contribute to team norms, missions, career paths, and goals.
• Lead special cross-functional projects as new strategic initiatives emerge.
• Push boundaries beyond traditional forecasting by being creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, Banking, or FP&A.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google products.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a people manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior background or exposure in Infrastructure, Cloud, AI, or Software industries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex workstreams and prioritizing effectively.
• Working knowledge of enterprise-level financial planning systems.
• Advanced credentials such as an MBA, CFA, or CPA.

Compensation and Location Details: For San Francisco, CA-based roles, the base salary range is USD $195,000 per year to USD $217,000 per year. You will also be eligible to participate in the bonus program, may be offered an equity award and other types of compensation, and can participate in a 401(k) plan along with various other employee benefits. Offices continue to be central to collaboration and cultural identity, and unless formally approved to work fully remotely, employees are expected to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
