Kier Group is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our established Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) team. This full-time, permanent position is based in the vibrant area of Oxford Circus, Central London, with a competitive salary of £81,597 per year. We understand the importance of work-life balance and are open to discussing some flexibility regarding working hours upon application.
In this role, you will be an integral part of KME, which operates as an internal MEP self-delivery design and build business within the broader Kier group. Your expertise will directly support regional businesses across the UK by contributing to high-quality design and build solutions. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this specific position, and candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Leading the mechanical design and engineering aspects of various projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, regional businesses, and external stakeholders to deliver integrated MEP solutions.
- Ensuring all engineering designs comply with current industry standards, regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
- Providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineering staff within the team.
- Overseeing project delivery to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgetary requirements.
