Kier Group is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Regional Construction team based in Swillington Common, Leeds. This is a full-time opportunity based on a 40-hour working week, with some flexibility on hours available for the right candidate, which can be discussed during the application process.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our team delivering exciting and high-profile projects ranging in value from £10M to £80M across a variety of key sectors, including education, healthcare, leisure, and government developments. You will play a crucial part in the commercial management of these schemes, ensuring they are delivered successfully from inception through to final account.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Managing all financial aspects of construction projects, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
- Preparing accurate valuations, applications for payment, and managing variations.
- Procuring sub-contractors, drafting packages, and managing sub-contractor accounts from onboarding to final settlement.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to mitigate risks and maximize commercial performance.
- Ensuring adherence to company commercial policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
We are looking for professionals who bring strong commercial acumen and relevant industry experience in a quantity surveying capacity.
