Senior Revenue Accountant-Hybrid

As a Senior Revenue Accountant in this hybrid role, you will perform important accounting functions for our domestic and international operations. You will be able to positively affect GXO’s future through advice and counsel while creating long-term success for the company and your career. We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Analyze and calculate revenue accruals during the month-end close.
• Perform and review reconciliations for key accounts, including deferred revenue, deferred costs, unbilled accounts receivable, and unearned revenue.
• Review new customer contracts to determine proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, lease accounting, and related standards.
• Perform ad hoc reporting to support multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment, balancing their needs and perspectives.
• Ensure key controls within the Record-to-Report process are in place and functioning effectively.
• Prepare process documentation, coordinate with stakeholders to drive process improvement, and develop and monitor relevant KPIs.
• Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis, and reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

What you need to succeed:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• Two to three years of accounting or related experience.
• Solid math aptitude along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, a CPA certification, experience with ERP systems like Oracle, and prior contract review experience.
