Uber Eats is rapidly scaling its Grocery and Retail vertical in Poland, achieving 4x growth last year. We are operating in an early-stage market with enormous potential, and this role is about building a core pillar of Uber’s future in the region from the ground up. You will navigate the high-stakes, fast-moving reality of an evolving market, requiring a resilient, resourceful, and “go-get-it” attitude.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to Polish grocery and retail merchants, focusing on mutual value.
- Navigate shifting priorities and internal complexity to unlock value for both your clients and Uber.
- Identify, pitch, and close complex deals with senior stakeholders, managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach to successful delivery.
- Adapt your sales approach based on shifting market dynamics and imperfect information within the Polish retail landscape.
- Collaborate across operations, marketing, and legal teams to shape proposals, resolve blockers, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Manage your pipeline with urgency and discipline, maintaining resilience through tough negotiations.
- Communicate with clarity and negotiate confidently to ensure partnerships are built on trust and sustainability.
- Track fine details and follow through on commitments even in fast-paced environments.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically within Retail, FMCG, Marketplaces, or Franchise Networks.
- Professional proficiency in both Polish and English, covering both verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle sales management, from initial prospecting to final closing.
- Strong negotiation and deal-making skills with a track record of securing stakeholder support.
- Data literacy skills, including the ability to analyze market trends and size opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications & Working Environment:
- Grit and resilience to stay motivated and high-performing in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Domain expertise and deep familiarity with the Polish grocery market or franchise systems.
- Systems thinking to understand how individual deals impact the broader ecosystem.
- Experience navigating CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Unless approved for full remote work, employees are expected to spend at least Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday working from the office to support team collaboration.
