We are seeking a skilled Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with L band RF systems, translating customer requirements into comprehensive architectural solutions. You will define requirements schemas, link specifications to appropriate documents, and flow applicable requirements down to software, ASIC, and test groups to help realize the end solution.

Essential functions and responsibilities for this position include:

  • Deriving system and subsystem requirements and defining architectures for L band RF and GPS-related systems.
  • Overseeing the development of qualification test plans to ensure solutions meet all customer specifications.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts in GPS signal processing, anti-jam signal processing, hardware design, control software, and government qualification standards.
  • Working closely with program management, project management, and cost account managers to develop solutions within established budgets and schedules.
  • Contributing to algorithm development, circuit designs, verification plans, and cross-functional design conflict resolution.
  • Participating in or leading product development processes, design reviews, and proposal efforts, while maintaining approximately 5% travel as needed.

Qualifications required for consideration include:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience, or a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience with receiver, antenna, or radio design, and hands-on RF circuitry lab experience.
  • Familiarity with embedded hardware design and FPGA design with an emphasis on digital signal processing (DSP).
  • Proficiency with design tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, P-Spice, Agilent ADS/AWR, Ansys HFSS, and schematic capture/PCBA layout tools like Altium.
  • Lab experience troubleshooting electronics in the analog and RF domains, utilizing network analyzers, frequency generators, vector analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in specific locations such as California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas is $106,500.00 to $197,500.00. The salary range for Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $92,500.00 to $171,500.00. Final offers may vary based on experience and location.
