Due to the company’s current period of growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team based in the Perth CBD office. In this vital role, you will apply your advanced technical expertise to complex engineering projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and robust design solutions for our global clientele.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Developing detailed structural engineering designs, calculations, and documentation for major resources and industrial projects.
- Providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and draftspeople within the team.
- Collaborating effectively with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Reviewing design deliverables, technical reports, and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and statutory regulations.
- Participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and site visits as required throughout the project lifecycle.
To be successful in this position, you will bring a strong background in structural engineering within the resources or industrial sectors, combined with a proven ability to manage complex technical challenges. You will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
