Tooraweenah Pastoral Company is seeking a dedicated and reliable Sheep Farm Worker to join our team on a full-time basis in the South Stirling area within the Albany Region of Western Australia. This role offers a competitive salary range of A$75,000 to A$80,000 per year.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine day-to-day tasks across our sheep farm and feedlot operations. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working hands-on with livestock and capable of keeping daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Feeding livestock and managing feedlot operations.
- Herding and moving sheep safely into pens for routine management, drafting, and sorting.
- Assisting with animal husbandry tasks such as branding, shearing, crutching, and administering necessary health treatments.
- Yarding sheep in preparation for sales and transport.
- Continuously observing and monitoring the general health and welfare of the stock.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the minimum qualification or background requirements by holding a Certificate II or possessing at least one year of full-time, relevant work experience in a similar farming environment.
