Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Cutting, shaping, and forming sheet metal using specialized tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Joining metal components through methods such as riveting, welding, soldering, and bolting.
- Inspecting finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to design specifications.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with company health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborating with other trade professionals and team members to meet production schedules.
