Skilled Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse for a short-term contract opportunity within the Accident and Emergency department at the Launceston General Hospital in the Northern TAS region. This full-time temporary role runs from 27/04/2026 to 27/07/2026 and offers an exciting chance to utilise your emergency nursing expertise in a dynamic hospital environment.
As part of this assignment, agency rates will apply, and both accommodation and travel are provided to support your relocation for the duration of the contract. To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the essential criteria and possess a minimum of 12 months of relevant nursing experience.
Key responsibilities and requirements for the role include:
- Delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Utilising demonstrated ED experience and specialised emergency nursing skills
- Commitment and flexibility to work a fully rotational shift pattern as required by the roster
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to hospital policies and professional standards
