Skilled Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) experience for a short-term contract at a regional hospital located in the Central QLD region. This temporary placement runs from 06/07/2026 through to 02/08/2026, offering an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to support regional healthcare delivery while exploring Central Queensland.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within a multidisciplinary team environment. As an MPS Registered Nurse, your duties will typically involve assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications, monitoring patient recovery, and responding to clinical emergencies as required in a rural or remote hospital setting.
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Minimum of 12 months of demonstrated nursing experience
- Prior experience working within a Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) or rural hospital environment is essential
- Current resuscitation and relevant clinical competencies
