UCHealth is seeking a dedicated Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team on a PRN basis in the Glendale and Denver area. This is a day-shift position offering an estimated annual equivalent of $100,821 based on an hourly pay range of $40.40 to $56.56 per hour, with exact compensation dependent on the applicant’s relevant experience.
In this specialized role, you will perform diagnostic sonography services in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, ensuring alignment with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Because this position is centered within Maternal Fetal Medicine, prior experience in this specific area is strongly preferred to support our patient population effectively.
Key responsibilities for the successful candidate typically include:
- Reviewing patient medical histories and physician orders prior to performing sonographic examinations.
- Operating specialized ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of fetal development and maternal conditions.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with clinical standards and privacy regulations.
- Ensuring equipment cleanliness, proper functioning, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
