As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, Cardiovascular Technologist, or Special Procedure Technician, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team. Your primary focus will be providing high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to patients undergoing specialized procedures. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced clinical environment to ensure optimal procedural outcomes and patient comfort.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Preparing and operating specialized imaging and diagnostic equipment in the cardiac cath lab or special procedures suite.
- Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular or radiological procedures.
- Monitoring patient vitals and maintaining accurate documentation throughout all phases of care.
- Adhering strictly to safety protocols, radiation safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
- Preparing procedure rooms, ensuring all necessary sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment are readily available.
- Providing patient education and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
Qualifications and credentials for this position include relevant professional certification, such as ARRT, RCIS, or RCES, alongside appropriate training and experience in cardiovascular or special procedures technology. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
