HammondCare is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as a Specialised Carer in Home Care on a part-time basis. If you love to care, come and be part of an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of thousands of older people in need. We are currently seeking compassionate carers to support clients across the Newcastle area, including The Hill, Morriset, Cooranbong, Bonnells Bay, Rathmines, Wangi Wangi, and Dora Creek.
In this role, you will provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within the comfort of their own homes. Your daily duties will be centered around delivering person-centred support tailored to the unique needs of each individual client.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a genuine passion for supporting older people and a compassionate approach to caregiving. Experience or a background in home care, aged care, or a related support services field is highly valued. Because this is a community-based position, the ability to travel between client locations is important.
We are currently seeking candidates with the following availability:
- Availability to work 3 to 5 full days
- Shifts falling between Monday to Friday
- Start times from 7:00 AM onward
