Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture of Encompass Health and Stormont Vail Health, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team on a full-time basis in Osage City, Osage County. As a Speech Pathologist with our organization, you will play an integral part in a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering patient-centered rehabilitative care. Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adult rehabilitation patients.
- Developing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique recovery goals.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies to support continued progress after discharge.
- Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
