BJC HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Full-Time Senior MRI Advanced Modality Technologist. Based at the Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM) within the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Radiation Oncology Department in Manchester and the greater Saint Louis area, this role offers an excellent opportunity to specialize in cancer care, medical imaging, and radiation therapy support.
This is a day shift position operating Monday through Friday, offering an exceptional work-life balance with no call and no weekend shifts required. The compensation for this full-time role is $209,911 per year, and the position includes a 5% advanced modality differential.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Operating MRI equipment specifically to support radiation oncology, radiation therapy, dosimetry, and cancer care planning.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, radiation therapists, and medical imaging teams to ensure high-quality diagnostic and simulation scans.
- Adhering strictly to safety protocols, patient care standards, and department guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and preparing imaging equipment for daily clinical use.
Requirements for the role:
- Professional certification and background in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Radiology, or Medical Imaging, with relevant RT(T) or modality-specific credentials as required by the department.
- Strong technical skills and experience working within advanced clinical environments, particularly in oncology or specialized radiology settings.
