Uber is seeking a Senior Onboarding Manager to join the Mobility team and ensure a seamless, efficient onboarding experience for Fleet Partners as the business continues to grow. In this leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day onboarding operations, maintain high standards of execution, ensure compliance with operational requirements, and deliver a positive partner experience throughout the entire onboarding journey.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading day-to-day onboarding operations to guarantee a smooth, efficient, and high-quality partner experience.
- Driving continuous process improvements by analyzing onboarding performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing changes to reduce cycle times and enhance satisfaction.
- Managing overall team performance, setting clear goals, monitoring progress, providing coaching, and supporting professional development.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product, Legal, Compliance, and external partners to ensure effective execution and smooth issue resolution.
- Ensuring strict adherence to operational, legal, and regulatory requirements in coordination with internal compliance teams.
- Leveraging data-driven insights and operational metrics to track trends, identify opportunities, and continuously improve onboarding outcomes.
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Extensive background in operations, customer support, onboarding, or related functions, demonstrating a proven track record of driving performance and process improvements.
- Demonstrated experience in people and vendor management, including performance tracking, coaching, and team development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities to identify root causes and implement effective, scalable solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and working effectively alongside diverse stakeholders.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to utilize operational metrics and insights to influence business results.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency alongside business-level English proficiency.
- Prior experience in a marketplace, mobility, logistics, or fast-paced technology environment is considered a strong plus.
- Familiarity with CRM and data analytics tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, or Looker is also a plus.
