In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electrical systems, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, and ensuring all designs meet industry standards and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include creating detailed schematics, performing system analysis, supporting manufacturing and testing processes, and mentoring junior team members. You will play a critical role in driving technical solutions that align with our mission to support national security and global communications.
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace, defense, or electronic applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate electrical components into larger systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality specifications
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior designers and engineers
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical designs
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with extensive experience in electrical design and a strong proficiency in CAD and simulation tools. You should possess deep knowledge of electrical systems architecture, wiring harness design, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
