As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you will provide the essential adaptability that our breakdown service relies on every single day, helping motorists get back on the move safely and efficiently.

In this full-time role, you will enjoy weekly variety while working an average of 40 hours per week across the year. To help you plan your schedule, you will receive your roster seven days in advance, with your core working hours confirmed ahead of time. Your day-to-day duties will involve attending breakdowns, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults at the roadside, and carrying out effective repairs to get members moving again.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, featuring a £55,869 basic salary (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance if applicable), with the fantastic opportunity to earn up to £61,000 based on your working arrangements and performance. This role is ideal for a dedicated mechanic looking to bring their automotive expertise to a nationally recognized organization while enjoying flexible working patterns.

Key responsibilities and requirements for this role typically include:

Attending roadside vehicle breakdowns in a prompt and professional manner
Accurately diagnosing a wide range of mechanical and electrical vehicle faults
Performing efficient roadside repairs or arranging onward travel when necessary
Delivering exceptional customer service to RAC members during stressful situations
Maintaining a high standard of safety, compliance, and vehicle equipment management
Holding relevant automotive qualifications and a valid UK driving licence
