As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you will provide the adaptability our roadside assistance service relies on, helping motorists get back on the move when they need it most.
In this full-time role, you can earn up to £60,000 per year, offering a rewarding career path for dedicated automotive professionals. You will enjoy weekly variety by working an average of 40 hours per week across the year. To help you plan your time, you will receive your roster seven days in advance, with your core working hours confirmed three days prior, allowing you to thrive outside of the traditional 9-to-5 routine.
Typical responsibilities for this position include:
- Attending to roadside vehicle breakdowns and performing efficient mechanical diagnostics and repairs.
- Communicating clearly with stranded motorists to explain faults, repair options, and next steps with a high standard of customer service.
- Managing equipment and parts inventory within your designated patrol vehicle to ensure readiness for various call-outs.
- Adhering strictly to health, safety, and roadside operational guidelines to ensure your own safety and the safety of the public.
