As a Superflex Patrol, you will play a crucial part in keeping our members moving. Your day-to-day work will involve traveling to stranded motorists, diagnosing a wide variety of mechanical and electrical faults, and performing roadside repairs or arranging onward travel when necessary. You will thrive outside of the traditional 9-to-5 environment, bringing strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise to every call-out.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Responding promptly to roadside breakdown call-outs across the assigned territory.
- Diagnosing complex vehicle faults efficiently using your mechanical expertise and diagnostic equipment.
- Performing roadside repairs safely and effectively to get members back on the road as quickly as possible.
- Providing exceptional customer service and reassurance to stranded motorists.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle repairs, parts usage, and daily logs.
What we look for in our patrols:
- A relevant mechanical qualification or proven equivalent industry experience working on vehicles.
- A strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- A valid UK driving licence with the flexibility to adapt to a varied shift pattern that offers weekly variety and supports our 24/7 service.
