Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Services Worker on a part-time basis. Based in the Maroochydore area within the Sunshine Coast region, this junior-level role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians by helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
As part of Anglicare’s Home and Community service, you will play an essential role in providing practical support and assistance that enables our clients to live their best lives in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities and personal care tasks as required
- Providing support with domestic duties such as cleaning, meal preparation, and household organization
- Assisting clients with community access, including shopping and attending appointments
- Building positive, professional relationships with clients and their families
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider care team regarding client needs and well-being
