Interact Australia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker for a part-time position focusing on High Intensity Care, based in the North Hobart area. In this role, you will champion and support people with a disability in their choices, delivering person-centred supports that are carefully matched to meet unique circumstances and individual needs. You will play a vital role in enhancing participants’ daily lives and fostering their independence through tailored high-intensity care services.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will generally involve:
- Providing respectful, high-quality, and person-centred daily care to participants with diverse support needs
- Assisting with high-intensity support tasks in accordance with individual care plans and organisational guidelines
- Promoting independence, social inclusion, and active community participation for every individual
- Maintaining accurate records, reporting changes in participant needs, and communicating effectively with team members and management
- Upholding the safety, dignity, and rights of participants at all times
