Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated Surgical ICU Registered Nurse for a seasonal position located in the Rowlett and Dallas area. This rewarding opportunity offers a competitive annual salary equivalent of $56,998, with the program running from September 20, 2026, through April 3, 2027.
As a seasonal RN in our Surgical Intensive Care Unit, you will provide specialized, high-acuity care to patients recovering from complex surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, managing life-support equipment, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes throughout the recovery process.
To be successful in this seasonal role, candidates must adhere to the specific scheduling and operational requirements of the program:
- All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
- Four (4) weekend shifts are required during each four-week schedule period.
- During the course of the 32-week period, employees are required to work two (2) holiday shifts, as defined by the Department Manager or designee.
- Within a close geography, you may occasionally be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
